Your responsibilities

Diagnostic imaging

· Interpret diagnostic images of animals using various imaging technologies such as X-rays, CT scans, MRI and ultrasound

· Perform diagnostic imaging studies as required.

· Perform medical procedures to diagnose and treat animal illnesses and injuries using radiology equipment.

· Provide clinical consultations to referring veterinarians and pet owners regarding diagnostic imaging findings.

· Generate and maintain medical records and reports related to radiological findings and treatments.

· Collaborate with veterinary specialists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for animals.

· Stay up to date with advancements in veterinary radiology and incorporate them into practice.

· Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain licensure and certification.

· Supervise and train veterinary technicians and other staff members involved in radiology procedures.

Co-ordinating Care

· Transfer of patients back into care of regular or referring veterinarian as appropriate

· Provision of detailed medical records to referring veterinarians in timely manner

· Invoicing and follow up reporting.
